  • 1 billion – videos served by YouTube every day
  • 182 hours - number if online videos the average internet user watches in a month
  • 82% - of Internet users that view videos online
  • 12.2 billion - videos viewed per month on YouTube (US)
  • 924 million – videos viewed per month on Hulu (US)

The office battle iPhone v Android

There’s been a lot of noise about the iPhone, mostly positive.  So when it came to throwing my old Sony Ericsson out the window and finding a new phone I naturally looked at the magical world of the iPhone.   It turns out that even though its good, got great marketing and first mover advantages, it is not as ‘bling bling’ as the HTC Hero running Android. Apple lovers will never want to admit this… partially because most ran out to buy the iPhone… but patience is a virtue and HTC Android phones are consistently out doing the iPhone in blogs, reviews, and user studies. Let’s kick IE6 while it’s down

Ask most web developers what takes up most of their time
or frustrates them most about developing on the web and Microsoft’s Internet Explorer (IE) browser will most probably feature somewhere in their response, namely version 6 (IE6). And it’s easy to see why.

Social Media’s Next Big Bash

LinkedIn to your Facebook lately or are you bored of being a digital twit? Have we all become antisocial about social media sites or do they still have something to offer us? Ok, so you don’t look up as many random school friends as you did this time last year. And telling people what you’re up to right this second might have lost its appeal after Stephen Fry got too busy to “follow” you. But we’d argue social media still has a lot of untapped potential to offer, especially for the B2B sector.

Let’s face it, if you’re part of any sizable company, there’ll be a Facebook group that complains about your services before there’ll be one praising you. There’s an old adage that states stories of good customer service are passed on to three other people while bad experiences are told to at least eight eager listeners. But on the internet, you can use this to your advantage.
